The Quick Facer is a portable tube facing, weld end preparation and weld removal machine. It is a micro lathe designed for various tube materials, including stainless steel and other high chromium materials.
Quick Facer machine can be used for machining tube sizes for 8mm ID to 38mm OD (0.314" - 1.5") and comes with a 50mm cutter head.
Standard set up
Microshaft with interchangeable guide shafts. Standard set covers 10mm to 15mm ID tubes and comes with a 50mm (2") cutter head.
Optional set up
- Microshaft with interchangeable guide shafts. Set cover 8mm to 10mm ID tubes
- Minishfaft with interchangeable guide shafts. Set covers 12.4mm to 24mm ID tubes
- 37 degree OD bevel cutter head head to suit 1/2" to 1-1/2" OD
- 45 degree ID weld removal/prepping cutter head to suit up to 1" OD
- Tube end facing head specifically for tougher materials. Utilises 6% cobalt inserts.
